Press Release-Omagh Independent Advice Services awarded Investors In People
Omagh Independent Advice Services recently celebrated the achievement of the Investors in People award, in a ceremony in HillsboroughCastle.
The Advice Centre, the only one of its kind in the Omagh District Area, achieved the award thanks to an innovative project delivered by Advice NI, the regional support organisation for Independent Advice Centres in Northern Ireland.
Ben Quinn, Chairperson for OIAS stated “We are absolutely delighted to achieve this award. It’s a testament to the hard work that the Management and staff of the organisation has displayed in ensuring that the organisation not only provides a quality service to the local community, but also that it creates an innovative and supportive environment for which the staff can work in. Particular thanks should go to Advice NI and to Julie Allen Consulting for their support, advice and assistance in helping us achieve this award”
Conor Mc Gale, Manager for OIAS stated “We are immensely proud to be achieving an award which is recognised by the Government, Statutory, Business and the Community Sectors for Best Practice. In these uncertain times for the community sector in terms of diminished funding and rationalisation of services, it’s vital that an organisation like ours remains committed to providing a quality and effective service to our local community, and recognise the important role that our staff plays in the continued success of the organisation.”
